If you want to move to Britain, you may be able to use the skills you have gained from running your own business to secure a UK visa and indefinite leave to remain (ILR) through skilled worker self-sponsorship.
In principle, you can set up a company in Britain and use that to sponsor your own visa to work in the UK. However, the Government sets out strict criteria and only accepts genuine, viable operating businesses to sponsor skilled workers.
Helping you meet the requirements
If you have a successful business in another country, we can help you move it to the UK, set up a British subsidiary, or launch an entirely new venture. We will help you put in the place the resources, systems and legal structures that are required to become a visa sponsoring organisation.
But more importantly, we will help you create business plans and financial forecasts that will demonstrate the genuine viability of your business to support an application to the Home Office, enabling it to sponsor skilled workers into the UK.
Support through to settled status (ILR)
Once your business is established and you have moved to the UK, sponsored on a skilled worker visa, you must make a success of the business for a full five years in order to gain the opportunity to be granted indefinite leave to remain (ILR).
We can provide business support and mentoring to help you adapt your business to thrive in Britain. We will also advise you on the systems, records and other evidence required to support your business through Home Office assessments and audits.
